Our 2 stroke and carburettor servicing process includes
Engine & Ignition
Compression Test: Measuring and recording of cylinder compression to verify the internal health of the engine.
Spark Plugs: Replace old plugs, and correctly gap new NGK spark plugs.
Cooling System: Flush cooling lines and thoroughly inspect hoses for any leaks or blockages.
Lubrication: Grease PTO (Power Take-Off), mid-shaft bearings, and steering/reverse cables.
Pump & Driveline
Jet Pump Oil: Drain and inspect for water intrusion, and replace jet pump oil.
Impeller Check: Inspect impeller and wear ring clearance for optimal thrust.
Fuel & Electrical
Fuel System: Replace inline fuel/water separator filter and inspect fuel lines for degradation.
Battery: Load test the battery, clean terminals, and apply anti-corrosion spray.
Overall Inspection: Check engine mounts, hull integrity, and bilge pump operation.
